Claire is named The Soaring Spirit Award by Looking Beyond LA Foundation

More exciting news for 2013!  We feel like this is going to be the year where it all really happens..the first 2 years were getting ourselves established and set up and now, things are going to take off!Looking Beyond LA is a non-profit organization founded in 1999 when 12 friends joined forces to create a committee dedicated to the awareness and enrichment of the lives of children with special needs. Every year, with the help of many generous supporters, this group of committed women have been holding events to raise funds for various organizations through ticket sales, donations, and a silent auction.  They strive to achieve their mission for children with disabilities by supporting different programs and services.Each year, this wonderful, generous foundation awards a community member with their Soaring Spirit Award.  This person usually embodies their mission of helping children with special needs..someone who has made a difference in the lives of others and exemplifies love and service.  Claire's dedication to making a difference in the lives of others living with cystic fibrosis caught their attention in 2012.We are honored beyond words and are excited to accept this lovely award on March 12, 2013 at The Beverly Hills Hotel during their annual Spring Luncheon.  The award will be presented to Claire by Model/Actress Molly Sims.We hope that this event will help spread awareness about cystic fibrosis and all the people living with this disease today. Claire's Place Foundation is grateful to be in a position to help other families by providing Extended Hospital Stay grants as well as connecting families to support families in their area.If you are in the Los Angeles area on March 12th, please consider attending ~ we would be thrilled to see you there!
