WPP Volunteer Spotlight: Monica Fochtman
We are excited to highlight Monica Fochtman, PhD, CPRW, CCTC, CIA, one of our dedicated volunteers in the Work Proudly Program. Monica holds a PhD and is certified as a Professional Resume Writer (CPRW), a Career Transition Coach (CCTC), and a Myers Briggs practitioner. Her training and experience make her an incredible resource for our adults with CF and caregivers who are preparing to re-enter the workforce or shift careers.
How Monica Supports Our Participants
Through her consulting practice, Sheldrake Consulting, Monica specializes in helping mid-career professionals and people changing industries move through times of transition. She focuses on helping clients get unstuck, rebuild confidence, and rediscover meaningful work that aligns with their skills and goals.
Within Work Proudly, Monica brings this same supportive and empowering approach to our community. Many of our participants have experienced health-related gaps in employment or need flexible and remote roles that fit the realities of CF care. Monica meets each person where they are and helps them uncover the strengths they may not see in themselves.

She guides clients through the process of understanding their value, telling their career stories with confidence, and learning how to present their experience in a way that resonates with employers.
