“Ashford is an amazingly smart and creative 15-year-old. He has such a humble loving spirit and heart!! Along with Ashford’s cystic fibrosis he was diagnosed with non-tuberculosis mycobacterium. Between 2017 and 2019 Ashford had 4 extended hospital stays and 2 separate extended home I’ve therapies to continue treatment. Last fall Ashford’s dad lost his job and it has been hard financially. I don’t even have the right words for how appreciative we are for the help or Claire’s Place. Thank you for knowing and understanding the needs of CF families”

“Our nine year old daughter has CF. She has spent much of the last 6 years in the hospital. In 2018 she had a lobotomy of her upper right lobe, and since then has seen a steady decline in lung function. In the last year she has had countless admissions. “Being a single parent and having a child with CF is hard, harder when you are doing it alone and 4 more kids too. When Annahi gets admitted to the hospital, it is 2.5 hours away from our home so I have to drive 2 to 3 times a week back and forth, take time off work, I even had to tell my oldest son to quit his job to stay with her so she wouldn’t be alone in the hospitals. This assistance is greatly appreciated. I will finally get up to date with all my bills and have a little breathing room. Thank you for all you do!”
