Meet Patricia ~ Extended Hospital Stay Grant Recipient

Meet Patricia ~ she was referred to us during an extended hospital stay due to a collapsed lung.  Thus far, she has been in the hospital for nearly one month, working hard to regain her lung function and enough strength to go home.  Patricia is one of two children in the family that suffer from cystic fibrosis and this current hospital stay has taken a real financial toll on her mother as the sole bread winner in the family.   We were very grateful to be able to assist them with getting caught up on their rent thereby avoiding an imminent eviction.Her Mother writes "What this grant means to us is less stress.  We can continue to function as a family.  It gives us assurance that my daughter will have a home to come back to when released from the hospital.  Thank you Claire's Place Foundation!"Thank you to all of our donors and supporters who make these grants possible!  Please remember us as we approach #GivingTuesday where your donations will be matched 50% on our Global Giving PageWe are all pulling for you Patricia ~ wishing you a speedy recovery!
