Meet Aiden - Extended Hospital Stay Grant Recipient
Last year alone, Aiden spent just over 100 days in the hospital due to Cystic Fibrosis. This disease is an endeavor that involves the entire family and sometimes an entire community to manage.
Aiden and his family were referred to us by their CF Center Social Worker at a time when they were barely holding on, even though both parents were juggling full time jobs and caring for 2 other children all while trying to spend as much time with Aiden during his hospitalizations.
Claire Wineland founded this organization because she saw a huge gap in care for families just like this, families who are working hard and doing everything they can possibly do but are still coming up short on monthly bills coupled with extensive hospital fees, especially during long hospital stays.
Aiden's father writes "We are very grateful to everyone at Claire's Place Foundation who understand what families with CF kids go through. It's great to see that there is support for us and that helps us come closer together as a family. Very proud of Claire for providing happiness! We send many blessings your way"
Thank you all for supporting this important program!
