A Safe Place for Bianca

There are moments when everything feels fragile.

For Bianca’s family, that moment came all at once.

With a young child facing serious health challenges, life already required constant attention, care, and strength. But when an unexpected hospital stay pulled both parents away from work, everything else started to slip. Rent fell behind. Stability felt uncertain. And the weight of it all grew heavier by the day.

Bianca is just a toddler. She should be playing, exploring, and simply being a child.

Her parents are doing everything they can to give her that.

Despite the challenges they’re facing, her family shows up — again and again — for her care. They stay connected to her medical team, follow through on every recommendation, and put her needs first, no matter how difficult things become .

But even the strongest families need support.

Through our Extended Hospital Stay Grant, Claire’s Place Foundation was able to step in and help cover a critical month of rent. That support meant more than just financial relief.

It meant:

• A safe, stable home to return to after long hospital days

• One less impossible decision between care and basic needs

• Space for Bianca’s family to breathe, even just a little

Bianca’s mom shared how much this support means to their family — not just practically, but emotionally. Knowing their children have a safe place to rest, play, and feel secure brings a sense of peace during an otherwise overwhelming time .

This is why we do what we do.

Because behind every application is a family doing their best in circumstances they never chose.
